We are part of the motorcycle safety crew called the Boobs On Bikes at the Weekend To End Women’s Cancer here in Calgary that took place on July 24-25th, 2010. The event consisted of about 1100 walkers that fund-raised $2.7 million of sponsorship to complete a 60 km walk. Our role is to keep the walkers safe along the route at busy intersections while motivating them and to provide general assistance…..we’re kind of half traffic cop/ half cheerleader!! It is always an emotionally charged weekend and this year was no exception.
